Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for the White House, was asked on Tuesday if President Joe Biden has any regrets after dubbing Georgia's voting restrictions "Jim Crow 2.0" in the previous year. The previous year, Biden urged Major League Baseball to boycott the state of Georgia by moving its All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver, which has a mainly white population. Delaware, which is Joe Biden's home state, has voting regulations that are stricter than those in Georgia. The fact checkers at the Washington Post gave Joe Biden four Pinocchios for spreading false information about the voting laws in Georgia a year ago. The early voting participation for this year's midterm elections in Georgia broke all previous records. Karine Jean-Pierre refused to comment on whether or not Joe Biden was correct in his comparison of Georgia voting rules to "Jim Crow." (read more) | |

A woman in the UK had plans to bury her late husband at Disney World by burying his ashes at one of the park's hotels, but she says an airline ruined those plans. According to the woman, Joyce Jackson, the airline lost her luggage that contained a portion of her late husband's ashes. The luggage was last seen at Manchester Airport. Jackson claims the airline forced her to use a self-service luggage drop that included a "flimsy" luggage tag that likely fell off during the trip overseas. She was not aware of her luggage being misplaced until she landed in Orlando and her bags never arrived. So, which airline was to blame? And what other irreplaceable items were also in the lost luggage? (read more) |

A 54-year-old grandmother in Indonesia identified only as Jahrah prompted a search after she never returned from collecting rubber from a plantation on Sunday. The woman's husband searched the area, but was only able to find her shoes, jacket, headscarf and knife. The next day he returned to the area with a search party. That was when a giant 22-foot long python was discovered with a swollen midsection, indicating that it had recently eaten something large. Disturbing video footage reveals the villagers cutting the snake open to find the remains of the missing woman. It is reported that the snake likely bit Jahrah before wrapping its body around her before she suffocated. Villagers say that even though the snake is gone, they still have a great fear that this could happen. (read more) |
