A legendary collaboration returns

, this can change your life, it changed mine.

In my life I can remember reading one or two lines in a book or article that changed the course of my entire life.

When I was 16 years old I read "The Lessons of History" by Will Durant and a quote inside it said "Who is mighty? He who controls his own mind."

That simple sentence changed the direction of my whole life by instilling into me a hunger for knowledge.

You have to look at yourself like a gold miner. When you read don't try to remember everything. Just look for that one little sentence that brings you more health, wealth, love, and happiness.

Here are the top three book of the day articles I had a few years back that were voted most likely to change your life (I think they’re probably more relevant today in 2020 than ever before) - take five minutes to read one:

1. Why beautiful people have more daughters? (47% of the votes)

Summary: Why do beautiful parents have more daughters and wealthy parents have more sons? Learn how Nature has created amazing rules that most people don't understand. Read the full article...

2. Why Richard Branson is rich. (39% of the votes)

Summary: The business guru, Peter Drucker, teaches why Richard Branson, Leonardo da Vinci, and Mozart accomplished 10,000 times more than the average person and how you can make a few little changes in your life to go from good to great. Read the full article...

3. 50 Secrets of the worlds longest living people. (14% of the votes)

Summary: The author studied five traditional people groups who are famous for living past age 100. Check out how apricots, green tea, seaweed, and playing Scrabble can keep you young. Read the full article...

Stay curious (it will bring you health, wealth, love, and happiness),

Making E-Commerce More Profitable

THE DAILY DIGEST

DDNL| NOV 9-15 | VOICES

THE UPFRONT

Dear BoF Community,

The pandemic has triggered runaway online sales for many brands. But profits haven't followed quite so easily. E-commerce is expensive, and customer acquisition and fulfilment costs can squeeze margins just as much as brick-and-mortar stores and wholesale partners. Only the most efficient operators can reap the full benefits of the online shopping boom. Cathaleen Chen talked to start-ups and experts, who offered seven tips for how to do it. Elsewhere, Robert Williams examines why European luxury houses are reasserting brand signatures from their pasts. Plus, op-ed writer Dan Hastings examines the murky business of "Blackfishing" — and why it comes with a social cost.
