🛫 According to the 2023 Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) report, Asia leads the way in terms of Muslim arrivals, with more than 31% of its arrivals being Muslim travelers.

🛫 Indonesia and Malaysia scored equally in the GMTI, ranking the highest in terms of visa requirements, destination marketing, faith restrictions, halal dining, and other criteria. Of Southeast Asian destinations, The Philippines ranked 5th after Singapore, Brunei, and Thailand.

🛫 In 2022, Muslim international arrivals reached 110 million globally. It is expected to reach 230 million by 2028, with an industry size of USD 225 billion.
