Hi there. Enrile acquitted of plunder in P173-M pork scam case


Not guilty due to insufficient evidence, declared the Sandiganbayan of presidential legal counsel Juan Ponce Enrile and co-accused Gigi Reyes and Janet-Lim Napoles in their plunder case relating to the pork barrel scam case. Yet another win for the 100-year-old Enrile.

Can she run despite dubious citizenship? That's the question now after the Department of Foreign Affairs canceled the Philippine passport of dismissed Bamban mayor Alice Guo — and yet Guo is bent on running for the same position in the 2025 elections.
