J.Crew is releasing its first womenswear collection under the designer Olympia Gayot, betting that a new creative direction will revitalise the brand. Fashion strategists in China are bracing for possible stagflation: the treacherous combo of stagnating economic growth and rising prices. London-based Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka is the winner of this year's LVMH Prize. Ferragamo reported retail sales in July and August were close to pre-covid levels, as it awaits the arrival of former Burberry chief executive Marco Gobbetti.
