This e-learning course by Clinical Supervision Services is offered as either 6 stand-alone modules or as a discounted course combining all 6 modules. Each module provides a theoretical overview of family therapy practice guidelines and an introduction to contemporary family therapy models.

The full course covers the following modules:
  1. Using Genograms in Family Therapy
  2. Family Assessments
  3. Structural Family Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy
  4. Milan Systemic Therapy
  5. Bowen Family Systems Theory and Narrative Therapy
  6. Contemporary Family Therapy Models

Fundamentals of Clinical Supervision
ONLINE


This e-learning course aims to increase confidence and skills in setting up supervision, developing learning goals and establishing a competency based supervision contract. Participants will develop a solid understanding of the tasks and responsibilities of supervision and become a competent and reflective supervisor.

It is estimated that it will take 35 hours to complete the 7 self-paced study modules:
  1. Introduction to Supervision
  2. Models of Clinical Supervision
  3. Preparing for Supervision
  4. Methods & Techniques (including Telehealth delivery)
  5. Reflective Practice
  6. Ethical Issues
  7. Evaluation and Feedback

Working with Families
FACE TO FACE


This workshop covers the core concepts and techniques of family therapy practice, providing an overview of the influence of the major schools of thought on contemporary practice. The emphasis will be on applying theory as systemic practice, through teaching, demonstration, video, role play, case illustrations, group discussion and small group exercises.

This course, also by Clinical Supervision Services, provides the knowledge required to establish a competency-based supervision working alliance. It includes the fundamentals of setting up supervision using clear learning goals, establishing a learning contract, how to use reflective questioning techniques and how to provide effective feedback to develop best practice skills in supervision.
