I'll be thankful for no drama this year 🦃

Happy Wednesday! Thanksgiving is tomorrow and it's either a time to eat or a time to cringe. And today, we need to discuss what's going to happen for this family on Thanksgiving. To give context, the OP's family rotates who hosts on different holidays. And this year, one of her kids flakes again and is disinvited from Thanksgiving.

I'm gonna be honest here. I'm a little torn. It takes a lot to host a gathering, so it makes sense to rotate so one person isn't hosting all the time. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be automatically included in this hosting rotation if I knew I wasn't able to host. Because then I look like a flake and get...disinvited. Either way, I'm cooking for the first time so that's what I'm more worried about right now. Here's to hoping my food gives people the itis (because that's how you know it's good).
