The Brazilian footwear company dominates the Brazilian domestic market, selling more than 11 million pairs of shoes annually. Its business has quintupled in size in just 10 years to reach nearly $600 million. Now, Arezzo & Co. is acquiring high-potential international SMEs and providing them with the infrastructure and insight to scale internationally.

"Our plan was simple — to implement what we knew in shoes into the apparel company, and the results were well above our expectations," Alexandre Birman, chief executive of Arezzo & Co., told BoF.
