Hi there. House panel checking names of 677 supposed recipients of VP funds

Beyond "Mary Grace Piattos," the House panel looking into VP Sara Duterte's use of millions of confidential funds is now checking the veracity of other names presented as recipients of the money, with help from the Philippine Statistics Authority.

Pacman the GOAT: Manny Pacquiao will be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame next year, the organization said — a much-deserved recognition for the Filipino pug hailed as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters of all time.

At last, 14 years after she was sentenced to death in Indonesia for smuggling drugs, former domestic helper Mary Jane Veloso may be back in PH before Christmas, per an agreement signed by PH officials in Jakarta for Veloso's transfer.

Another Filipino who may be sent back to PH soon: former Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr., after a Timor-Leste court granted Manila's extradition request for the second time to have Teves face murder charges in his home country.

The latest country China has pissed off is Paraguay, which ordered a low-level Chinese diplomat to leave for "interference"— the envoy was said to have lobbied lawmakers to reconsider Paraguay's friendly relations with Taiwan
