If you're one of the millions of people who've already reviewed their Medicare coverage options at Medicare.gov/plan-compare, great! If not, do it today! This is your last chance to decide if you want to stay with your current coverage for 2025, or switch to a new plan. If you're thinking about making a change, now's the time to act. If you choose a new plan for 2025, it's easy to enroll on Medicare.gov/plan-compare, and your new coverage will start January 1. If you're happy with the coverage you have now, and the plan is still being offered next year, you're all set. Reminder, starting in 2025: -
All Medicare plans will include a $2,000 cap on what you pay out-of-pocket yearly for prescription drugs covered by your plan. Review your plan to make sure it covers your drugs and meets your needs and budget for 2025. -
You can choose to participate in a program that spreads your out-of-pocket drug costs across the calendar year, instead of paying all at once at the pharmacy. It's called the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan — and you can opt in with your plan throughout the 2025 plan year. Contact your plan for more details. Sincerely, The Medicare Team |
