Reminder: Participate in Field Testing of Cost Measures - Deadline Extended to March 14 Public Listening Opportunity: Wave 6 Clinician Expert Workgroup Webinars on Cost Measure Development New Video Short: Safety-Related Electronic Clinical Quality Measures Reminder: Participate in Field Testing of Cost Measures - Deadline Extended to March 14 The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and its contractor, Acumen, LLC, are conducting field testing of 2 episode-based cost measures. The field testing period will end on March 14, 2024. We greatly appreciate the comments that we've received to date ahead of the initial February 29 deadline. We also encourage interested parties to continue to submit comments as soon as possible prior to the updated deadline to ensure there's adequate time for your comments to be reviewed by the Clinical Expert Workgroups that advise on measure specifications. The following episode-based cost measures are currently being field tested before consideration of their potential use in the cost performance category of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) of the Quality Payment Program (QPP):  Movement Disorders: Parkinson's and Related Conditions, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Non-Pressure Ulcers Reports are available for download from the QPP website for individual clinicians and clinician groups who meet the eligibility criteria for at least one of the measures. You may now provide feedback via the online surveys through 11:59 PM ET on March 14, 2024. Person and Family Engagement (PFE) Field Testing Survey: Use this survey if you're a patient or caregiver for someone with lived experience with the specific conditions represented in the field testing measures (i.e., movement disorders or non-pressure ulcers).
