Prepare for the muting of the mics. The final presidential debate is on.

Donald Trump and Joe Biden are facing off in their final debate — only this time, they'll have their mics muted to avoid interruptions.

The first debate was contentious. Trump's persistent struggle in the polls has spawned a broad consensus that he should dial it back tonight. Still, the president made it clear he's coming after Hunter Biden.

Joe Biden is expected to directly appeal to Americans, focusing on Trump's shortcomings and his own plans to address them. Plus, there will be an entire section devoted to climate — an issue that has become urgent in 2020.
