Hi there. Guo goes to Pasig jail, Ong to Mandaluyong correctional

As ordered by a Pasig court, former mayor Alice Guo has been transferred to the Pasig City jail for the nonbailable charge of qualified human trafficking. Cassandra Li Ong, meanwhile, was sent by the House to the Mandaluyong City's women correctional facility.

First the "Son of God," now his "Angel of Death": A confessed former member of Apollo Quiboloy's supposed private army is now under PNP custody, and has told police he knows the identities of the other members of the group "used to scare the victims" of Quiboloy.

Another fugitive falls — this time Tony Yang, the elder brother of former presidential economic adviser Michael Yang, with lawmakers hailing the former's arrest as a "major breakthrough"in their probe into suspected crimes by Chinese nationals and local officials.

In a document approved by Pope Francis, the Vatican said it recognized the shrine of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina — but was mum on the Virgin's "alleged messages" to the faithful, who have gathered there in the millions for more than 40 years.

"Being 70 in this fast-changing technology-driven age has many challenges," writes contributor Ma. Nerissa Navarro-Piamonte in Opinion. She proposes simplifying life in seven aspects, from credit cards to monthly bills, gadgets, and housekeeping.
