Due to its location in the center of a bridge in Los Angeles County, a California house known as the "Troll Apartment" sold for $430,000, or $180,000 more than its asking price.
Due to its unusual location beneath the road and over the arch of a bridge overlooking the Alhambra wash, the listing for the Alhambra house became viral online.
The 1949-built home was initially advertised for $250,000, but listing agent Douglas Lee claimed that a bidding battle broke out and the property was sold for $430,000.
According to Lee, the previous owner bought the house in 2005 with the goal of turning it into a special hideaway but merely used it as storage. |
