Sixteen Michigan residents are facing felony charges for falsely claiming to be presidential electors for former President Donald Trump after he lost the 2020 election and submitting documents certifying they were the electors to the Senate and National Archives, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced Tuesday. According to Nessel's office, each of the 16 suspected "false electors" has been charged with eight felonies, including conspiracy to conduct forgery, forgery, conspiracy to violate election law, and election law forgery. Five of the offenses are felonies with a 14-year sentence. "The false electors' actions undermined the public's faith in the integrity of our elections and, we believe, also plainly violated the laws by which we administer our elections in Michigan," Nessel said. Tucker Carlson told an audience during his Turning Point USA speech that Biden's administration and the media don't want you to talk about three topics in particular. When referencing the attack on free speech over certain topics, Carlson referenced the phenomenon as "wrong think" and pointed out that it's considered a "crime" by the White House and media. He also suggested it was the only "crime" currently being punished in the US. So, what are the three topics that the White House and the mainstream media want to silence you from speaking about? Here's Carlson's take on the matter. (read more) |

Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, a Republican running for president, responded to former President Trump's suggestion that his 2024 opponent might serve as running mate. Although Scott acknowledged that Trump is a "good guy," he said, "I think he's overqualified to be my vice president." One of twelve contenders vying to unseat Trump as the Republican nominee for president in 2024 is Scott, a rising star in the GOP and the only Black Republican serving in the Senate. Trump, who is running for president for the third time in a row and is currently the clear front-runner in the most recent Republican primary polls, praised Scott. Prior to Trump's town hall on the campaign trail in Salem, New Hampshire, on Tuesday evening, Scott was questioned by Fox News Digital about his remarks. (read more) | |

Police are on the hunt for two Florida women after they stole something fairly uncommon: peacocks. The pair were caught on security camera stealing peacocks from a home in Palm Coast. Thankfully, the stolen birds weren't real, as they were just decorative lawn statues the two women made off with. But police are still investigating why the women made such an odd heist. Video footage shows the two women running up to the lawn of the Palm Coast home at night, snatching the peacocks and then running off into the night with the two objects. Here's what eventually happened to the two statues, and this is why police are still investigating the odd situation. (read more) |

Human trafficking expert Sabrina Thulander is speaking out against Alabama woman Carlee Russell's parents' suggestion that a child was used to lure her out of her car to kidnap her. "As far as we are aware, this is not a tactic that traffickers use. These kind of rumors spread on social media quite a lot," Thulander said. "Far more common ways that traffickers use to recruit is that it's a family member. You have a lifelong tie to them, and they will exploit that." Here's what a witness claims he saw near Russell's car and what we know about her state when she showed back up at her home 48 hours later. (read more) |
