President-elect Joe Biden is the first Democrat to win Georgia since 1992, while defeated President Donald Trump carried North Carolina, according to the final two network calls of the 2020 presidential race.

Winning Georgia gives Biden 306 electoral votes, equaling the number Trump — who has refused to concede defeat — won in 2016.
