Vice President Sara Duterte should focus her attention on her mandate as the country's second-highest government official, instead of implementing programs that are no longer within the scope of her duty, according to Sen. Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III.

Mpox: Most cases infected thru sex
Most of the cases of mpox in the country were due to sexual encounters, with health experts noting that six out of eight patients had contracted the viral disease through intimate engagements. The Department of Health reported three more cases, bringing to 17 the total number since 2022. However, all these cases involved a less virulent strain of the monkeypox virus.
