PH debt hit fresh record high of P 15.69T in July
Government debt rose to a new high of P15.69 trillion at the end of July, primarily driven by the issuance of new government securities and project loans. The growth, however, was partially offset by a stronger peso, the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) said on Tuesday.

S&P keeps 5.8% PH GDP growth forecast for 2024
Debt watcher S&P Global Ratings has kept its forecast of a 5.8-percent growth in the Philippines' gross domestic product (GDP) this year and 6.1 percent in 2025, on hopes private consumption will pick up.
