Who could it be? Pagcor senior VP Raul Villanueva said they have heard "rumors" that a retired PNP chief is among senior law enforcement officers taking bribes from POGOs — but admitted they have yet to confirm the intelligence information.


Former Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio is urging the PH government to accept Washington's offer to escort its ships in the West Philippine Sea, to help deter China from blocking Filipino supply ships and grabbing Escoda Shoal.

Car sales expanded by 6.2% in August


Philippine vehicle sales grew by 6.2 percent in August, improving from the preceding month but still marking the second slowest growth rate so far this year. Local dealers had sold 39,155 new units during the month, more than the 36,714 units recorded in August 2023.
