He served for over 15 years at the World Bank Group, leading a team of economists and change management specialists for the Collaborative Leadership for Development initiative. Ajay lives in Virginia with his wife and two sons.

5 Sun Salutations every morning for a week: This practice is more than a physical workout; it’s a moving meditation that aligns body, mind, and spirit. Begin each morning by stepping onto your mat, grounding yourself, and setting an intention for the day. 


Begin standing with palms together, inhale arms up, arching back. Exhale into a forward bend, then halfway lift on inhale. Exhale, step back to Plank, lower into a low push-up position, inhale to Upward Facing Dog, and exhale into Downward Facing Dog. Inhale, step feet forward, and exhale into a forward bend. Inhale, arms sweep up, arching back, then exhale palms together. 


Sun Salutation energizes, stretches, and strengthens the body. It is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners. This daily practice enhances flexibility, builds strength, and promotes mental clarity. It is also a powerful way to cultivate discipline and start your day with purpose and gratitude.
