Dear Reader, Know how I stay ahead of the curve in so many different areas? I find true experts who I respect… then follow their writing. For tech and AI investing, I often read Stephen McBride’s insights. Because in fast-moving areas like AI, you must be early to trends to make real money. Stephen was one of the earliest to Nvidia. In 2018, in an article Forbes picked up, he wrote: “If I could only buy one stock for the next 5 years, it would be Nvidia.” The difference between buying NVDA in 2018… vs. in 2023? Many tens of thousands of dollars, potentially. That’s why my team and I follow Stephen. And now you can too. He now writes a free email note 3 times a week called the Jolt, in which he helps readers stay ahead of the most exciting trends in tech. If you’re interested in profiting from the AI boom now unfolding, sign up here. Kind regards, Marin Katusa Chairman, Katusa Research PS: I asked Stephen what’s the next big play after NVDA. He sent this a snippet of his Jolt e-letter, see below: In a way, Nvidia has been too successful. Its AI chips are 100X faster than they were a decade ago. All the other parts that make up a data center—networking equipment that allows the chips to “talk” to each other and so on—have only gotten about 4X faster. This creates a major bottleneck where Nvidia’s chips can only work 30% of the time. The other 70% of the time, these $40,000 chips sit idle… but still use full power. I expect a lot of spending and innovation to shift toward the lagging parts of the data center equation: cooling equipment, storage, next-gen fiber optic cables, and so on. I suggest taking your winnings from Nvidia and buying the stocks of this equipment. Go here to sign up for Stephen’s free Jolt e-letter. |
