Whenever we have a short week, volume won’t start picking up until after the first day or two. It’s also a pretty slow week for Federal Reserve data, including the FOMC minutes coming at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, which I don’t expect will tell us anything we don’t already know.  This is the last big week of earnings, with Nvidia on deck after the close on Wednesday, before mid-cap stocks take center stage.  We already know we’re not getting rate cuts any time soon, and I believe the market is finally pricing that in.
