March 15 ScHARe Think-a-Thon: An Interactive Introduction to Terra and the ScHARe Data Repository

Join us for a hands-on interactive training session on Terra workspaces and account features.

You're invited to the next ScHARe Think-a-Thon on March 15! This Think-a-Thon will offer an interactive introduction to Terra, the host of the ScHARe data repository and research collaboration platform and many other NIH data repositories. Learning to use Terra will help users make the most of the innovative and scalable ScHARe platform.

This webinar is the first in a three-part series that will review key aspects of Terra. This first webinar in the series will focus on account features and workspaces. Attendees will receive hands-on instruction that covers:

  • creating and configuring a Terra account and setting up billing
  • establishing a workspace and setting appropriate permissions
  • cloning, creating, and running notebooks.

ScHARe is an innovative population science data repository and multidisciplinary research collaboration platform sponsored by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities and the National Institute of Nursing Research. The platform:

  • provides cloud computing tools and secure workspaces to allow easy, low-cost analysis of these data
  • fosters collaborations to develop AI bias mitigation strategies and advance health disparity and health care delivery research using Big Data
