The FBI is investigating the "suspicious" death of a woman aboard a Carnival cruise ship traveling from Charleston, South Carolina, to Nassau, Bahamas, last month. On February 27, Carnival's Sunshine crew members and medical staff responded to an unresponsive female passenger, the FBI Columbia field office said in a news release. Despite their best efforts, the woman was pronounced dead on the ship. On March 4, when the ship returned to Charleston, an FBI team processed the passenger's room for evidence. The incident was isolated, and there wasn't a threat to other passengers before or after the woman was found dead. The FBI said it investigates suspicious deaths of U.S. citizens and "certain crimes on the high seas." Officials have not disclosed the passenger's identity or the cause of death and said the incident remains under investigation. (read more)

Biden has been providing Ukraine with weapons and ammunition throughout the conflict with Russia. Biden has admitted that this will continue indefinitely. However, domestic arms producers are struggling to keep up with surging demand, and our own armed forces are dangerously undersupplied. When will someone in Washington finally realize that our national security is in jeopardy? The issue we're facing is that the supply is not keeping up with the demand, despite some efforts to stimulate production in the United States. The United States cannot guarantee Ukraine's safety by providing them with an unlimited supply of weapons and ammunition at the expense of our own. (read more)

The energy sector is one of the few sectors that have fared well during the last 18 months of market meltdown. Higher commodity prices have benefitted businesses, and management teams have been less willing to expand simply for the sake of developing, which sabotaged profits in the middle of the 2010s. An American Airlines passenger on a flight from New York to India was recently arrested once the plane reached its final destination. The man, described as a 21-year-old college student in the US with Indian citizenship, was said to be intoxicated for most of the flight. American Airlines flight personnel told police in India that he was "heavily intoxicated and was not adhering to crew instructions on board." Witnesses say the man continually argued with flight attendants and other crew members, and was not willing to stay seated for the flight. Twenty-eight-year-old Lindsey Edwards says that disgraced South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh beat and raped her after he hired her from a sex trafficking ring that catered to mayors, judges, solicitors, district attorneys and police officers. Edwards says the multiple incidents happened while she was working as a pole dancer around late 2014 or early 2015. Along with being forced to have sex with Murdaugh, Edwards claims she was subjected to multiple savage attacks by him. "When it came time to actually have to service him, my expectations were still pretty high. I was like okay, shouldn't be that bad, I've already done this a good hundreds of dozens of times at this point. He seemed like a really nice person," Edwards said. That was when she said things took a very nightmarish turn. (read more) |
