Boudette ] A National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) safety recall report said the software could result in vehicles "traveling straight through an intersection while in a turn-only lane, entering a stop sign-controlled intersection without coming to a complete stop," and making other violations. [CNN / Chris Isidore] The FSD feature costs $15,000, or $199 per month, and is available to owners with high driver-safety scores. However, drivers must be alert while using FSD.
