Image source: Mario Roberto Duran Ortiz Pregnant woman protests ticket for driving in HOV lane A pregnant woman in Texas argued with officers after being pulled over for driving in the HOV lane without a passenger.    Cops pulled the woman after seeing her violate the rules of the lane, and gave the woman a chance to admit she was breaking the law. Officers asked her if anyone else was with her in the vehicle, but they weren't quite expecting her response.     The woman quickly pointed to her belly and claimed the second passenger was riding along in her womb.    "My baby girl is right here. She is a person," the woman told law enforcement.    How did officers respond to her insistence that she wasn't breaking the law? Image source: New York Post A Missouri man will now spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his pregnant wife Thirty-one-year-old Beau Rothwell from Missouri will spend the rest of his life in prison with no chance of parole for killing his pregnant wife of four years, Jennifer Rothwell. She had reportedly searched on her phone "what to do if your husband is upset you are pregnant" before she went missing.   St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell said, "We issued this case of murder first and as was stated in sentencing today, we never made any other offers. That was not an option.
