Maternal Health Update from HHS Office on Women's Health (OWH)

HHS OWH Launches New Maternal Health Site

Earlier this week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently announced maternal health as a national priority and released two strategic roadmaps to help guide our nation's endeavors to improve maternal health. As a part of these efforts, the HHS Office on Women's Health is excited to announce the launch of the new Maternal Health site on Womenshealth.gov.

The new maternal health site outlines the HHS vision for ensuring the United States is one of the safest countries in the world for women to give birth. It also highlights resources such as the HHS Maternal Health Action Plan , the Surgeon General's Call to Action to Improve Maternal Health and two innovative competitions to address maternal health disparities.
