On August 12, 2024, Colorado submitted a request to amend its Medicaid section 1115(a) demonstration entitled the "Colorado Expanding the Substance Use Disorder Continuum of Care". The amendment request is to incorporate a Health Related Social Needs (HRSN) program into the current demonstration to provide housing and nutrition services for specific eligible populations. The state's goal in amending the demonstration is to improve the health status of Medicaid beneficiaries by removing social barriers to health, and improve connections between Medicaid beneficiaries and community services to address physical health, behavioral health, and HRSN. The federal comment period will be open from August 28, 2024 through September 27, 2024.

Pending Application
