Two California police killings spur protests |

- The death of Tyre Nichols has thrust the recent police killings of Black men including Anthony Lowe and Keenan Anderson into the national spotlight. [Guardian / Sam Levin]

- On Thursday, police in Huntington Park, California, shot and killed Anthony Lowe, 36, a double amputee and wheelchair user who was armed with a knife, as he fled. [CNN]
