Yesterday, a judge handed down the harshest prison sentences yet in the plot to kidnap Michigan's Governor Gretchen Whitmer. The three men who were sentenced had all formed an early alliance with the supreme schemer behind the kidnapping plot. The ring was taken down by the FBI in 2020. None of the three men (Pete Musico, Joe Morrison, and Paul Bellar) had a direct role in the conspiracy. But they were all members of a paramilitary group that trained with Adam Fox. He's currently facing a possible life sentence from a separate case that's being handled in the federal courts. "The defendants' ultimate goals were to kill police and elected officials and kidnap the Governor of Michigan. These extraordinarily violent ends, coupled with the unequivocal conviction from the jury, demand the maximum sentence," Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said in a statement. So, how long will they sit in prison, and how long before any of them will be eligible for parole? Plus, find out about the other convictions they've recently faced. (read more)

I'm starting to wonder if all of the stress, hate, controversy, and scrutiny is taking a serious toll on Trump's mental health. Because right now, I'm starting to suspect that he's completely lost his mind. After teasing a "Big Announcement" for days, we finally learned what the big announcement was. Was it his 2024 running mate? Nope! Was it in any way related to his 2024 aspirations? Not at all. Instead, we were given the "exciting opportunity" to get busy collecting all of his latest digital trading cards. Which is another way of saying, "Buy my NFT for just $99!" This as a slew of celebrities are facing lawsuits for pump and dump schemes related to Bored Ape NFTs. And I'm not the only one that's stuck here scratching my head and wondering what the heck is happening. How about you, do you think this is it for Donald Trump? Has he finally lost it? Weigh in and let me know what you think... (read more)

Using section 3 of the 14th Amendment, 41 House Democrats introduced a measure on Thursday to prevent former President Donald Trump from running for president in 2024. 41 Democrats, including radical Representatives Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Ted Lieu (D-CA), and Rashida Tlaib, are attempting to strip Trump of his 2024 eligibility (D-M). To disqualify Trump's candidacy, Democrats are likely concentrating on the phrases "insurrection or rebellion" in conjunction with January 6th. This disqualification requires proof that Trump engaged in "insurrection or rebellion." (read more)

The market is about to go up. Although no one can predict when or how much the stock market would decline before that, the start of another long cycle of market rise is all but inevitable. The Great Depression, the 2008–2009 financial crisis, the pandemic, and the tech boom are just a few examples of bear markets that were followed by bull markets in the United States. Nothing about the present bear market is so exceptional that it would lead investors to believe differently, and equities should eventually rise when interest rates normalize, and inflation declines. When that happens, and the stock market starts to rally again, you'll want to own these three stocks. (read more) |
