A gunman killed at least five people at a LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs before patrons confronted and stopped him, police say. "I thought it was the music, so I kept dancing," he said. "Then I heard another set of shots, and then me and a customer ran to the dressing room, got on the ground and locked the doors and called the police immediately." That's how the night unfolded for Joshua Thurman while he was celebrating Transgender Day of Remembrance at Club Q. The mass shooting has left five people dead and 25 injured. The suspect has been identified as Anderson Lee Aldrich, and this is what we know about him, and his motives, so far. (read more)

On November 14, 2022, Citadel founder and significant Republic donor Ken Griffin said that former President Donald Trump is a "three-time loser." He hoped Trump will not run for president again in 2024. Griffin's statements reveal a rising degree of unhappiness among the Republican class with Trump, despite the fact that Trump started his 2024 campaign on November 15. Griffin has a net worth of approximately $29 billion, according to Tyler Durden of ZeroHedge. Griffin contributed roughly $60 million to federal Republican politicians running in the 2022 elections. Griffin became the third-largest individual donor in this election cycle, trailing conservative Richard Uihlein ($62 million) and leftist oligarch George Soros ($128 million). Griffin previously stated his support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis running for president. (read more)

Ask 20 investors about the potential of e-commerce, and you'll likely get 20 different answers/ While some will extol the merits of Shopify, others will sing the glories of Amazon. To be clear, both businesses will unquestionably play significant roles in the ongoing development of digital retail. However, the next stage of online sales will involve the expensive and labor-intensive cross-border movement of goods. Well, at least he was polite, right? A man in Florida reportedly yelled an apology to deputies who were looking on as he broke the law. Zachary Sibert decided to drive a vehicle at 110 mph while deputies chased him. When Sibert stopped, he decided to run before deputies could catch up with him. But instead of running into the woods or somewhere else safe to hide, Sibert decided to dart out into traffic on the incredibly busy Interstate 95. Before running across the interstate between vehicles, Sibert reportedly looked at deputies and yelled "I'm sorry." Here's how his decision to run panned out. (read more) |

The parents of slain University of Idaho student Kaylee Goncalves, Steve and Kristi Goncalves, are defending their daughter's ex-boyfriend, Jack, after she and her roommates were stabbed to death. "Jack is just as distraught as we are. Jack is our family. Jack is 1,000%. 2,000% our family, and Jack is with us, and we stand behind him 100%. We are supporting him, and we know in our hearts and our minds and our souls and the depths of our soul, Jack is hurting. Kaylee and Jack would have eventually been married. They would have eventually been married, and they would have eventually had children" said Kristi Goncalves. Kristi Goncalves says that the authorities are "wasting their time" in investigating him even though it was revealed that the young woman had contacted him multiple times on the night she was killed. Here's what else we know so far. (read more) |
