Amie's mother, Tamela, had spent over ten years working at Missouri's Meramec State Park. Getting bit by bugs was pretty much part of the job description. So, if she got bit by bugs or ticks, she'd normally just write it off. She didn't freak out or anything. She'd just pluck the bug off and go about her day. That was until it happened in May of 2017, and things took a very different turn. It started with a urinary tract infection. Then a slew of other symptoms. She was eventually admitted to the hospital, but tests returned negative results when she was tested for tick-borne illnesses. Which is exactly why her daughter is speaking up now. (read more) |

As far as we know, Nancy Pelosi's proposed trip to Taiwan is still purely hypothetical. No dates have been set. No travel arrangements have been worked out. It could be pure political posturing. And if that's the case, it's pretty sad. Because this hypothetical trip is already having very real consequences for the people of Taiwan. "The Chinese side has made it clear to the U.S. on many occasions that it is firmly opposed to Speaker Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. We are fully prepared," foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said yesterday. In response to China's threats, Taiwan decided to hold emergency air raid drills just to be on the safe side. That wasn't all they tested, either. (read more) |

You know things are getting bad when CNN is calling out the Biden administration's lies. Even the leftist media doesn't buy the Biden White House's attempt to redefine the term recession. CNN's Kasie Hunt and her panel openly called out the White House for trying to gaslight the American people over the current economic situation. In their view, trying to redefine an economic recession is pointless because it's something economists and experts accept no matter what politicians say. If CNN sees this as a political stunt and is willing to call it out, then the American voter definitely won't fall for it. (read more) |

NASA's Perseverance Mars rover made quite an odd discovery recently when roaming around Mars. A picture sent back to NASA officials shows a bundle of string on the surface of Mars between two rocks. The rover had never visited that particular area before, so it made it an even more interesting find. The image stumped NASA officials initially so they hoped to get another look upon the rover's next visit to the area. But during the next visit to the location, the bundle of string had mysteriously disappeared. And though everything seems a little suspicious, NASA scientists have this theory about why there is string on Mars. (read more) |

Police say that the suspect is a male juvenile and that McLaughlin and the suspect did know each other. Dean of students at Maranacook Community Middle School Rick Sirois stated, "Brooke was just firm and confident in her beliefs. She'd sometimes ask to eat lunch in my office. We'd have casual conversations about life in general, and she was always a pleasure." While they have not revealed how she died, they have confirmed that her death was the result of homicide.
