"First and most importantly, earlier this evening we arrested a juvenile suspect in this case," he said during a news briefing at 6:30 p.m. local time. "The suspect was not a stranger. The suspect was known to the victim. We do not believe there is any danger to the community at this time."
Lily was first reported missing by her father around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday after she failed to return home from her aunt's house, not too far away.

Image source: Sunshine Community Health Center A Florida man found himself in big trouble recently when he stole his twin brother's identity. Wayne Bowen's brother is a veteran, so by stealing his identity, Bowen was able to use military veterans benefits even though he is not a veteran.
Bowen is accused of obtaining tens of thousands of dollars in military benefits by illegally using his brother's identity. Though Bowen is estranged from his brother, he was able to use his name, Social Security card, and military discharge papers to apply for federally subsidized housing, nutritional benefits, and VA medical services.
When Bowen's twin, who lives in another state, confirmed that he was not applying for or receiving those benefits, that's when Bowen's plan unraveled and he was caught. Bowen admitted he had been using his brother's identity for years.
A federal judge handed down a sentence to Bowen recently for stealing his brother's identity. Does the punishment for Bowen fit his crimes?

Image source: Newsweek Forty-nine-year-old Deborah Hodge just did something drastic to stop landlords from forcing her to give up her cat…she married it. Hodge says she has already been made to rehome three animals from landlords over the years who didn't allow pets in their properties.
Hodge and her cat, India, were wed on April 19th in a civil ceremony that was presided over by someone Hodge knew who was ordained. Hodge wore a tuxedo while 5-year-old India was dressed up for the special occasion in gold lame.
Hodge hopes that this act of commitment will show her landlords how important it is for her to keep her cat. "I had nothing to lose and everything to gain, so I married my cat! I recited vows under the universe that no man will ever tear myself and India apart," Hodge said.
"She is fundamentally the most important thing in my life after my children. I refuse to be parted with her. I'd rather live on the streets than be without her," she continued. After their wedding, the newlyweds celebrated with their group of guests with a picnic.
Hodge did reveal that her guests thought she was crazy. Her kids were not in attendance for the ceremony.
