Dear BoF Community,
Wednesday brought some clarity, but no resolution, to the US election. Former Vice President Joe Biden was declared the winner in several key states, bringing him closer to victory. But President Donald Trump is throwing up legal hurdles to delay, or even reverse, a potential loss. Fashion's leaders aren't waiting to learn the outcome; Lauren Sherman spoke to a bevy of CEOs about how they're planning for the next four years.
Also, even amid a political crisis, the business of selling clothes goes on. For many brands, a successful holiday season means convincing customers to shed their sweatpants and fall back in love with more-tailored (and higher-margin) clothes. The answer: put elastic in everything from jeans to suit jackets.
And check out the lineup for VOICES 2020. Speakers at BoF's annual gathering for big thinkers include Virgil Abloh, Samira Nasr, Jonathan Anderson, Remo Ruffini and many more.
