Sharril's 21-year dream came true, watch what happened next.
Most people have no ideawhat they're missing out on when they come to Israel on a typical tour. This is where HaYovel's volunteer programs come in. Being two parts volunteer program and one part a boots on the ground tour, our programs go way past the typical ten day trip.
HaYovel's volunteer programs serve Jewish farmers in Judea and Samaria. We bring individuals from all over the world to Israel's biblical heartland every year to harvest grapes and olives, plant new vines and trees, and prune vineyards. At the same time, we are giving Christians an opportunity like none other to connect to the land and people of Israel.
Emanuel Mercieca from Malta
We'd like to introduce you to Emmanuel, a volunteer who joined us from the island of Malta. He had a life-changing experience, one that we'd like to share with you. He came to Israel on his own many years ago. When he joined HaYovel for a volunteer trip however, his experience was vastly different from his previous trip.
Sharril Sherwood has been to Israel many times, and something keeps drawing her back. After traveling to Israel many times, God told her that her calling was for a life time.
When God gives you a calling, the finances are not to be a concern either. In Sharril's words, "I don't have deep pockets, but I have a big heavenly Father". Watch her inspirational storyhere.
If you're ready to go past the typical tour bus experience, get your hands dirty in the Holy Land's soil, and connect to God and the bible like you never imaginedpossible, sign up for one of our faith-based volunteer programs this year!
"But isn't Israel dangerous", you ask? Good question! We'll address that in the next email. It's not what you think.
