A GOP flop in Nebraska

The GOP's dreams of tilting a crucial Electoral College vote toward Donald Trump before November is dead.

Nebraska Republicans had hoped to change the way their state awards Electoral Votes, a plan that would have essentially guaranteed an extra tally for Trump. GOP Gov. Jim Pillen conceded Tuesday that the last-minute proposal won't go forward before Election Day.
