Read in Browser Meetings & Workshops Gut Microbiota and Kidney Disease This workshop will address the overall impact of microbiome/microbiota on kidney diseases with specific focus on their role as markers, mediators or amplifiers of kidney function or dysfunction. In addition, the workshop will explore biological/mechanistic interplay between the kidney (in disease) and the gut microbiome. Heterogeneity in Pancreatitis: Recognizing Heterogeneity and Its Role in the Management of Pancreatitis To address the issues of heterogeneity in pancreatitis, NIDDK will hold a one-day workshop to unravel the contributions of etiology and stage of disease, understand the symptoms, and create strategies to develop well-designed treatment trials.
