| Apply for a Nurse Corps Scholarship! Worried about how to pay for your nursing degree? Apply to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program! We pay your tuition, fees, and other educational costs (ex. books, clinical supplies and instruments), plus a monthly stipend for living expenses. In return, you work at a Critical Shortage Facility when you graduate. You are eligible to apply if you: - Are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
- Are an accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing
- Begin classes no later than September 30
- Don't have any federal judgment liens
- Don't have an existing service commitment
- Aren't overdue on a federal debt

Attend our Application Assistance Webinar! | | | | This year, the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program includes special funding for the following areas: - Up to $5 million reserved for students studying to be:
- Registered nurses (RN) with a focus in women's health or obstetrics (including current doulas and lactation consultants pursuing an RN degree)
- Nurse practitioners (NP) with a focus in women's health or an obstetrics and gynecological specialization
- Certified nurse midwives
- Up to $2 million reserved for students studying to be an RN who have entry-level health professional certificates, such as certified nursing assistants, community health workers, mental/behavioral health aides, school health aides, home health aides, medical assistants, and licensed practical (vocational) nurses
- NP students specializing in psychiatric-mental health programs (including post-graduate certificate programs)
