Hey E, One of our mottos at Brute Force is, "The world is your gym". We want you to get outside and train as much as possible. Here's why. - Sunlight Therapy "Vitamin-D"
Exposure to natural sunlight during outdoor workouts has been shown to have mood-boosting effects. Sunlight stimulates the production of serotonin, often referred to as the "feel-good" hormone, which helps regulate mood and promote a sense of well-being. Vitamin-D is also critical for immune function and bone health.
- Grounding Connection "Get Barefoot"
When you train barefoot outdoors, you experience a connection with the earth known as grounding or earthing. Training with direct contact between your feet and the ground allows you to absorb the earth's energy, which can have a balancing and grounding effect on the body. This connection helps alleviate stress, reduce inflammation. Also, when you ditch your shoes, you engage muscles, tendons and ligaments in your feet more effectively. This can improve foot strength, flexibility and proprioception (the body's awareness of its position in space. Barefoot training can also help correct imbalances and reduce injury risk.
- Nature's Healing Power
Research has shown that spending time in natural environments can lower cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. By integrating outdoor training into your fitness routine, you tap into nature's innate ability to heal and restore balance to both body and mind. So… Grab your sandbag, ruck, weight vest, kettle bell, or all of them and get outside! Stay Ready, Mo | | Copyright © 2024 Brute Force Training No longer want to receive these emails? Unsubscribe.
