We encourage the public to participate in the development of our research projects. Comments can be submitted for: Measuring Healthcare Organization Characteristics in Cancer Care Delivery Research (Available for comment until April 2, 2023) The purpose of this Technical Brief was to identify: 1) frameworks that have been developed or applied to examine the effects of organizational characteristics on the delivery of and outcomes associated with cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment, and compare these frameworks to the Integrated Framework recently developed by Weaver, Breslau, and colleagues; 2) approaches used to improve understanding of how organizational context and process characteristics are described, measured, and analyzed in the context of cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment; 3) healthcare organizational context and process characteristics that have been examined in studies assessing the delivery of cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment; and 4) evidence gaps and future research needs. The Effective Health Care (EHC) Program is interested in receiving supplemental evidence and data (SEADs) for systematic reviews that are relevant to the questions in our evidence reports. To ensure that it has full access to relevant research, whether or not it is published, the EHC Program is interested in receiving SEADs containing detailed study-specific information. Opportunities to submit scientific information are available for: Genitourinary Symptoms of Menopause (Available for submission until March 29, 2023) Given the range of symptoms associated with genitourinary syndrome of menopause, the lack of definitive diagnostic criteria, the impact of these symptoms, and the increasing number and range of available treatments, this review will assist clinicians, patients, and other stakeholders to make informed decisions about screening, evaluation, and treatment. (Section 944 (c) of the Public Health Service Act [42 U.S.C. 299c 3(c)] requires that information collected for research conducted or supported by AHRQ that identifies individuals or establishments be used only for the purpose for which it was supplied unless they consent to the use of the information for another purpose.) About us: AHRQ's Effective Health Care Program is committed to providing the best available evidence on the outcomes, benefits and harms, and appropriateness of drugs, devices, and health care services and by helping health care professionals, patients, policymakers, and health care systems make informed health care decisions. The program partners with research centers, academic institutions, health professional societies, consumer organizations, and other stakeholders to conduct research, evidence synthesis, evidence translation, dissemination, and implementation of research findings.
