The world was enthralled when news broke about Trump's classified document fiasco in Mar-a-Lago. And quite quick to pass judgment. Then they started turning up pretty much everywhere Joe Biden spent more than 15 minutes. That's when the media suddenly found a whole lot of empathy and excuses. I've been sharing news of these developments along the way, but I'll be honest, based on your click activity, it doesn't seem that you're all that enthralled. So, I just wanted to know - is this a topic you still want to hear more about or have you had enough? Thus far, the results indicate that you haven't reached the end of your interest in this topic, but I want to know for sure. How do you feel about it? (learn more) |

Several federal politicians, including Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and two Democrats and one Republican, have paid thousands of dollars to a Chinese foreign agent for the purpose of running for office. A number of members of Congress, including Kevin Mullin (D-Calif.), Grace Meng (D-N.Y.), and Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), have joined Ocasio-Cortez in urging donors to give to Sing Tao U.S., a subsidiary of Sing Tao News Corporation Ltd based in Hong Kong, to cover advertising costs for the upcoming midterm elections. In other words, those campaigns gave money to a Chinese-owned entity that the Department of Justice required to register as a Chinese foreign agent in August 2021, when tensions between Washington and Beijing were at an all-time high. All of the campaigns had already paid out their money to Sing Tao U.S. by the time the DOJ made its ruling that the company's activities amounted to foreign activity in American politics. Stocks in the clean energy sector are still benefiting from a long-term secular tailwind. Since the once-hot green energy plays were pushed to the sidelines during the past year, oil and gas equities have actually performed better. However, as dirty energy appears to be reaching its peak, many renewable energy firms may start to gain ground once more. Unquestionably, in 2021, enthusiasm and excitement drove the prices of several clean energy stocks to unsustainable heights. Top renewable energy companies deserve another look now that the tides have turned and more investors are becoming more aware of valuation. Many names currently stand out as prospective winners as they keep making long-term investments. Here's a look at 2 strong-buy clean-energy stocks. (read more) |

A couple is being accused of abandoning their baby at a check-in area at Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv after confusion over ticketing. The two travelers had Belgian passports and eyewitnesses, including airport staff, say they saw the couple place their baby in a check-in area and walk away. They were trying to catch a Ryanair flight to Brussels when they realized the check-in for the flight had already closed. The couple was at some point informed that the infant they had with them also needed a ticket. In hopes of making it through security in time and catching the flight, the parents left the child on a conveyor belt in the check-in area. It appeared they were trying to board the flight without the child. Staff requested the couple return to the area to pick up the child, but the couple refused. That's when airport staff members called the police. Here's how the situation played out. (read more) |

The U.S. Air Force has flagged the construction of a Chinese-owned corn mill in North Dakota as a "significant threat to national security." Fufeng Group is an MSG and xanthan gum manufacturer based in Shandong province, China. The company had previously purchased 370 acres of farmland in Grand Forks. At least 5,000 residents have signaled their disapproval by signing a petition to prevent the mill's development. Mayor Brandon Bochenski has seemingly jumped on board, issuing a statement on Tuesday declaring that the project should be stopped. While the Air Force hasn't yet stated what specific threat they are weary of, here's what residents believe. (read more) |
