A Republican majority in the House and Democratic control of the Senate will almost certainly result in a political stalemate in Washington, potentially halting President Biden's legislative program for the remaining two years of his first term. Republicans planned to take control of both chambers of Congress, as polling indicated they had a lead in crucial Senate and House contests despite Biden's record low support ratings, increasing inflation, and a stagnant economy. Democratic incumbents and challengers, on the other hand, won the majority of swing state contests in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Nevada, with the Georgia Senate race moving to a runoff election next month. A hiker is going public with a photo he snapped recently and many are claiming he captured a ghost on camera. Chris Randall was hiking in the mountains when he said he spotted the ghostly figure beside him. Randall said the figure appeared to be walking up the mountains with him. Randall grabbed his camera to capture the creepy apparition. Since it was a misty and dreary day, the ghostly shadow looked even more menacing. But some people are saying the shadowy figure isn't a ghost after all, and there's a logical explanation for what Randall saw and caught on camera. What do you think? Seventy-one-year-old Dilek Ertek died after falling from the deck 11 of the Norwegian Spirit into the South Pacific Ocean on October 25. The ship was departing from Papeete in Tahiti. Ertek was a wealthy owner of Tiffany's jewelry empire in Turkey. She was on vacation with her Swiss lover. Surveillance footage reveals that she went overboard around 3 a.m. Her body has not been recovered, but several pieces of her jewelry were missing from her cabin. Her 74-year-old boyfriend did not report that she was missing for 20 more hours. Police questioned him, but ultimately released him on a lack of evidence.
