Six anonymous former California high school football players are suing their former school district as well as their former athletic trainer because they say that she raped and sexually abused them between 2000 and 2007. The lawsuit states that Tiffany Gordon worked as an athletic trainer under her father, Harold Strauss, who was a longtime coach and athletic director before she became an athletic director. One of the victims says that he told a coach that he and another student were abused and were planning to report it to the district. The lawsuit also states that, "Despite rampant rumors surrounding Gordon's misconduct, (the school district) knowingly, intentionally, willfully, deliberately, negligently, and/or recklessly allowed Gordon to continue abusing Colton High School's varsity football players, including plaintiffs." Here's who Gordon reportedly targeted and what the school has said regarding the claims. (read more) |
