Episode #381 Demystifying Psychedelics (with Michael Higgs and Martin Polanco)

Today, I speak with Michael "Punky" Higgs and Dr. Martin Polanco of The Mission Within, a 6-week psychedelic therapy program for Special Operations vets. In the episode, Michael and Martin share their personal and scientific testimony of the impact psychedelics are having on our vets and their loved ones.

This week I'm feeling lit up by the rich history of SEAL Team 6. In 1979, when 53 staff members were taken hostage in the US embassy in Tehran, the Carter administration experienced several failures to regain the hostages. In the wake of Tehran, SEAL Team 6 (DEVGRU) was born. Richard Marcinko was tasked with the inception of the first team, which has served as the tip of the proverbial Special Operations trident for over 40 years now.
