Democrats in Washington State are uniting to defend seasoned Sen. Patty Murray against rising Republican candidate Tiffany Smiley as the 2022 Republican red wave rocks the boat there. Poll results indicate Smiley is not there yet, but the tide is turning in her favor. Murray is up by 8.5 percentage points according to the Real Clear Politics average of the polls. Depending on the survey, she had a margin of between 18 and 20 points in July. The significant adjustment is in Smiley's expanding fan base. She was receiving 33% of the vote in July. According to the most recent poll, that has increased to over 41% while Murray's numbers have stabilized at about 50%. (read more) |

A former colleague of a nurse who has been accused of killing infants while she worked at a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) has released additional chilling details about the case. According to the colleague, who wishes to remain anonymous, Lucy Letby attempted to kill the twin sister of a male infant who died just one night prior in her care. Investigators now believe Letby murdered the boy. She has been accused of murdering seven babies so far, and attempting to murder 10. Letby allegedly tried to kill one baby on three separate occassions. Prosecutors say she injected her victims with milk, insulin, or air to kill them. Now investigators are trying to piece together what could have led Letby to commit such terrible crimes. When investigators searched her home, they found these chilling notes in a diary. The grandmother of missing Georgia toddler Quinton Simon has revealed that she thinks the child died after drowning in the bathtub while his mother, Leilani, had passed out from being high on drugs. "I feel like something happened while Quinton was in the bathtub, and he drowned, and they were both high. That's my theory," Billie Jo Howell said to the baby's father on a recorded phone call. "If you're high as hell, man, you do stupid s—," she added. Here's what else Howell said on the phone call that could be incriminating. (read more) |
