President Biden might have declared that the pandemic is now over, but that doesn't mean it won't still kill people. Disease experts are predicting that coronavirus deaths will remain a top ten leading cause of death in the United States for the next decade. Perhaps longer. It was only a matter of time before members of the liberal left decided to pursue criminal charges against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his Martha's Vineyard relocation efforts. And that time is now. According to Fox News, "Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, a Democrat, said he was opening up a criminal investigation into migrants that were 'lured' from the Migrant Resource Center under 'false pretenses' and flown to Florida" before being flown to Martha's Vineyard. Sheriff Salazar said, "Here we have 48 people that are already on hard times. They are here legally in our country at that point," he said. "I believe that they were preyed upon. But Governor DeSantis isn't backing down, and he sees things from an entirely different light. How is he responding to the news of the impending criminal probe? (read more) |

The day after a broadcast interview with President Biden in which he claimed that the "pandemic is over," Anthony Fauci, the country's foremost authority on infectious diseases, stated on Monday that the United States is not where it needs to be in regards to the coronavirus pandemic. Much will depend on how the nation responds to potential viral variants in the future, according to Fauci, Biden's senior COVID-19 consultant who this month announced his impending departure from the government. Despite a decrease from a year earlier, he pointed out that there are still more than 400 deaths per day in the nation that are caused by coronavirus. Pundits were quick to call out the obvious contradiction between Fauci and Biden's statements. (read more) |

Mining stocks often pay dividends, which is attractive to many buy-and-hold investors. Here's what you need to know about mining stocks for your portfolio. (read more) |

According to the doctors performing the surgery, batteries were found in her stomach and colon. Somehow, none were blocking her gastrointestinal tract.
