These currency upheavals happen about every 40 years. The first was Roosevelt confiscating private gold in 1934… The second was Nixon abandoning the gold standard in 1971… Now, Biden's plan could pave the way for "retiring" the US dollar… And replacing it with THIS. The White House and Democrats across the nation share a common conundrum and his name is Governor Ron DeSantis. And this problem grows every time Biden or his progressive arm introduce a policy that doesn't resonate with a huge voting demographic in DeSantis's state: Latino voters. They're a lot more conservative than you might suspect, and moves like loosening sanctions on Venezuela certainly don't win Democrats brownie points, especially in South Florida. So Democrats find themselves at the horns of a dilemma: they know that their chances of turning Florida Blue are miniscule, but they can't afford to ignore the state, or worse, get voters riled up against them. This gives Governor DeSantis, who could be a 2024 presidential contender, a whole lot of pull and power. And the White House doesn't exactly delight in that fact. (read more) |

In a recent fundraising email, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) misrepresented forecasts made by election forecasting website FiveThirtyEight in a number of races. Pelosi has a track record of making incorrect or deceptive claims and frequently sends out emotionally charged campaign emails. Pelosi recently made an attempt to defend President Joe Biden's inflationary policies. According to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight model for the House, Pelosi will be removed as speaker, and Republicans are expected to take over the chamber if the 87% odds hold up. (read more) |

Since January, public corporations' market capitalizations (caps) with market values between $300 million and $2 billion have declined dramatically. As a result, smaller businesses have the potential for significant development, according to analysts. However, their weaker balance sheets and smaller profit margins frequently exhibit strong sensitivity to rising inflation and interest rate increases. Small-cap equities are currently trading 19 percent cheaper. As a result, they present stronger investment opportunities than mid-cap (selling at a 10% discount) and large-cap (trading at a 13% discount) companies. However, this distinction is to be expected. Given the risk-reward characteristics, small-cap companies often do worse than the overall market during downturns. But when the mood shifts to optimism, they frequently take the lead. With that information, here are seven small-cap stocks to buy that potentially offer momentum in the second half of 2022. (read more) |

Disney is known for providing bigger and better experiences for their guests in theme parks, and now they're taking their cruise line up a notch as well. The company recently debuted the newest ship to their lineup and it includes some pretty mind-blowing experiences. One thing that makes the Wish unique is the Worlds of Marvel dinner experience that provides guests with a Marvel-themed dining room. There are even quantum core devices on every table in case you need to help fight Ultron during your meal. The massive ship also has an ice chamber, which is a room that has furniture that is made of large bricks that look like ice. The room's walls, ceiling, and floor also look like they've been carved out of ice. A central block dispenses icy air into the room so you can relax in the cold. But there are several other surprising things that make the Disney Wish unique. Here are a few more you need to know about. (read more) |

Police say the Highland Park shooter, Robert E. "Bobby" Crimo III, was dressed in women's clothing in an effort to disguise himself and aid in his escape after he fired off 70 rounds into a crowd of people viewing a Fourth of July parade. After committing the atrocities, police revealed that he ran home to his mother. "Crimo was dressed in women's clothing and investigators do believe he did this to conceal his facial tattoos and his identity," said Lake County Major Crime Task Force spokesman Christopher Covelli. He then immediately fled to his mother's house to "borrow" her car, and there was no indication he told his mother what he had just done. Here is what police later found in his car and apartment after they apprehended him. (read more) |
