The Migrant Protection Protocols, often known as the "Remain in Mexico" policy, were repealed by the Trump administration on Thursday, according to a 5-4 decision by the Supreme Court, overturning an earlier decision by a lower court. As a result of the strategy, immigrants who wanted to enter the United States were forced to wait for hearings in Mexico. The policy was implemented by the Trump administration to prevent the release of migrants into the country. The question was whether a federal law requiring the detention of migrants had been broken by the Department of Homeland Security's suspension and then termination of the policy. After the would-be groom lost the engagement ring, estimated to be worth $1,200, through the decking and into the lake, Ross Bamber suffered a terrible engagement to his fiancée Geri Ashforth. As seen in a video on TikTok, the charming and romantic lakeside proposal immediately took a dramatic turn. Everything was caught on camera, including the ring falling out of the box, bouncing into the distance, and even dropping into the river. After Ghislaine Maxwell was just sentenced to 20 years in prison for aiding Jeffrey Epstein in sex trafficking, some are wondering if Prince Andrew is next on the hit list. Attorneys representing Maxwell and Epstein's victims have called on US authorities to investigate other associates involved in the scheme, including the disgraced British royal. Prince Andrew has managed to stay out of the spotlight since he was stripped of his royal duties at the end of 2019. "He should definitely be concerned, but … if he did nothing wrong, then come forward and tell the full story to the FBI, not the media," said lawyer Spencer Kuvin. Attorney Lisa Bloom, who represented a number of the victims, also wants the FBI to investigate. "Virginia Giuffre's civil case should be just the beginning. Everyone associated with Epstein and Maxwell should be carefully investigated," Bloom said. Among Prince Andrew, here is another likely suspect who could be investigated. (read more) |
