Ferragamo's New Strategy, Luxury Changes Its Approach to WeChat

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TODAY: WEDNESDAY, MAY 11, 2022 Ferragamo CEO Marco Gobbetti has outlined a plan to double sales in the Italian brand's latest turnaround push. Dozens of brands have launched resale this year, usually relying on partners to build out their operations. Arianee, a platform for brands to create and distribute NFTs, raised €20 million in a round led by Tiger Global. Luxury brands may need to rethink their WeChat strategies as the Chinese super-app adds new features.
