Casey White was apprehended in Indiana on Monday after a police chase. According to US Marshals, at the time of Casey White's arrest, Vicky White was hospitalized with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after being apprehended following the car pursuit in Evansville, Indiana. At the time of the incident, Sheriff Dave Wedding said that Vicky White's injuries were "very serious." Officers on patrol noticed Vicky White exiting a motel wearing a wig before the chase began. She then got into a car with Casey White and drove away. Authorities followed them until a chase ensued, which ended when a US Marshals task force member crashed into the Cadillac they were driving. The car wrecked and rolled over. Officers were able to remove the inmate from the wrecked car, but Vicky White was pinned inside with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head. She later died from her injuries. The pair's capture brought an 11-day manhunt to an end that gained widespread national attention. (read more)

Remember when Democrats tried to convince us that inflation was temporary? When that didn't work, they tried to argue that runaway inflation was actually good for the economy. And when they realized Americans didn't buy that lie, they tried to blame it all on Putin. But now the liberals are out of excuses. Instead of trying to explain away rampant inflation, the White House is playing dumb. Jen Psaki recently told reporters that no one could have predicted the current inflation crisis. The problem with that comment is that even liberal economists warned about the ramifications of propping up the economy during the pandemic. It's clear that the Biden administration is out of ideas. The stock market crashed on May 4, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling about 1,000 points or 3.12%, in the worst single-day drop since 2020. In addition, the Nasdaq Composite dropped over 5% in a single session, putting pressure on tech businesses. Twilio (TWLO), a cloud communications company, was heavily hit by the market downturn, losing 1.5 percent. However, Twilio's loss was less severe than the entire market's, owing to the company's stronger-than-expected first-quarter 2022 earnings, which were released after the market closed on May 4. A Texas woman is still relishing her crazy thrift store find after she decided to shop at a Goodwill store. While rummaging through the store, the woman stumbled upon an old bust that was priced at $35. The bust was on the floor, hidden under a table. The unique object immediately caught her attention, so she decided to investigate. When she picked it up to check it out, she realized it was carved out of marble and weighed more than 50 pounds. After purchasing the bust and doing research on it, the woman found out the bust was actually from ancient Rome and dates to the first century B.C. or first century A.D. Some researchers believe the bust is of Pompey the Great, who was defeated in civil war by Julius Caesar. But how did such a historical piece of art end up at a Texas Goodwill? And was the woman who purchased it able to keep the rare piece? (read more)

It's been two months since the pregnant wife of country singer Sam Hunt, Hannah Lee Fowler, filed for divorce. Now it seems as though she's had a change of heart after asking the court to dismiss the case. Fowler, who first filed for divorce back in February, withdrew her initial complaints hours after and re-filed on the same day in another county. A close source says the couple is "doing their best every day" and "continually looking forward to the next chapter." In her filing, Fowler revealed that Hunt was guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and adultery. Hunt hasn't made any public statements about the state of his marriage, but he recently said that he and Fowler are working together to pick out a name for their baby girl. (read more)
